Flexilink Taxi-Bus Services

The Pomona-Cooroy flexilink service operates three times a day in each direction on every day except Sunday.  It will run as a trial until 30 June 2010 at which time its patronage and viability will be reviewed.

The taxi-bus will follow a set route along Reserve Street, Pioneer Road, a loop through Cudgerie Estate (if a booking is received) and then via Mary River Road to Cooory.  A one-way trip is estimated to take 25 minutes.

Bookings must be made via Suncoast Cabs ph 1300 511 163 at least two hours ahead of departure.  The taxi won't run if a booking is not made, so it can't be flagged like a normal bus.

The running times connect with timetables for the North Coast Railway Line (passenger services to Nambour and Brisbane) and Translink bus routes 631 and 632.

On weekdays, the Flexilink service departs Cooroy at 5.25am, 12.15pm and 6pm and Pomona at 5.55am, 14.45pm and 6.30pm.

On Saturdays, Cooroy departures are 6.50am, 12.30pm and 3.30pm and Pomona are 7.20am, 1pm and 4pm.

The fare is $2 one-way for adults and $1 for concession card holders and children.

This is a trial service.  The more passengers we get onboard means the great the possiblity for the service to continue.
